The client discovered this large barn, 100′ X 40′ built in late 1800’s in Wisconsin. The barn was dismantled, numbered and reassembled on a new site in upstate new york with sweeping views of the catskills. This new residence was built using the reclaimed beams of the original barn, reclaimed siding and SIPS (structurally insulated panels. The barn was built in 2 phases. Phase 1 was the main 3 bedroom residence, double height living and dining space, lower level media room, pool and open breezeway. The other side of the breezeway is the phase 2 build-out 2 bedroom guest suite.
